5.7.2 print self-test page
Printer self-test page includes a printer and print head configuration sample test sample.
1) Turn off the printer and load the media, press and hold FEED key, turn power switch to the "-" position, when the buzzer sound
Release the FEED button, the printer paper feed and print a self-test page (proofs see Appendix 1);
2) Configuration proofs are given in the printer's current configuration information;

5.7.3 Setting the Paper Type

l automatic calibration function

7 printer routine maintenance
Monthly Follow the steps below to clean the print head, platen and sensor. If using harsh environment, may be appropriate to increase the printer routine maintenance times

7.1 printhead cleaning
When the print head either of the following situations occur, you should clean the printhead:
? print is not clear;
? feed, back paper noise;
? print head stuck a foreign body.
Printhead cleaning procedure is as follows:
1) Turn off the printer, open the top cover;
2) Lift the ribbon holder and find the print head, if immediately after printing, you should wait for the print head to cool completely;
3) cotton ball with alcohol (should be wrung out) wipe the print head surface dust, dirt;
4) Wait 5-10 minutes until alcohol volatilizes completely depressed ribbon holder and close the cover.
7.2 Sensor Cleaning
When the printer has any of the following conditions, you should clean paper mark sensor:
? During printing, the printer is out of paper error occasionally reported;
? printer does not alarm;
? not valid identification mark.
Marked paper sensor cleaning procedure is as follows:
l transmissive sensor
1) Turn off the printer, open the top cover;
2) Lift the ribbon holder found transmissive sensor;
3) cotton ball with alcohol (should be wrung out) wipe the surface of the transmissive sensor dust cover dust, dirt;
4) Wait 5-10 minutes until alcohol volatilizes completely depressed ribbon holder and close the cover.
l reflective sensor
1) Turn off the printer, open the top cover;
2) Lift the ribbon holder, find reflection sensor and remove the sensor cover;
3) cotton ball with alcohol (should be wrung) erase reflective sensor surface dust, dirt;
4) Wait 5-10 minutes until alcohol volatilizes completely depressed ribbon holder and close the cover.
7.3 Cleaning the platen
When any of the following conditions, you should clean the platen:
? print is not clear;
? feed, back paper noise;
? platen attached to a foreign body.

Cleaning the platen as follows:
1) Turn off the printer, open the top cover;
2) Lift the ribbon holder, find the print roller, if immediately after printing, you should wait rollers to cool completely;
3) while rotating roller cotton ball with alcohol (should be wrung) erase platen surface dust, dirt;
4) Wait 5-10 minutes until alcohol evaporates completely, pressing ribbon holder and close the cover.
Note:
n The printer routine maintenance must ensure that power is off;
n do not allow metal objects by hand and touch the print head surface, using forceps and other tools can not scratch the print head, platen and sensor

n Do not use gasoline, acetone and other organic solvents to clean the print head and rollers;
n marked paper sensor cleaning is completed, the paper should be re-calibration;
n Wait alcohol to dry completely, and then turn on the power to continue printing.

8 Troubleshooting and Maintenance Methods
Printer fails, can refer to this chapter for the appropriate treatment. If the fault persists, contact your dealer or the manufacturer.
8.1 LED status indicator and buzzer
When the printer failure or abnormal condition occurs, the error indicator flashes, the buzzer sounds.
